I am a computer scientist from Zurich, Switzerland. Recently, I've finished my PhD in computational evolution at ETH Zurich, where I simulated viral evolution in-vitro and in-silico to test methods used to study the progression of epidemics. I have years of experience with Machine Learning, from statistical models and traditional supervised learning to reinforcement learning and self-supervised training of deep learning models on huge data sets. I am particularly interested in synthesizing my knowledge in computer science, machine learning, and software engineering to create applications that create value beyond academic research.
