Nicolas Ochsner

Evolutionary Biologist | Computer Scientist | Barchef

I'm an evolutionary biologist and computer scientist from Zurich, Switzerland. On weekends, I work as a barchef in a unique cocktail bar and techno club. Recently, I finished my PhD in computational evolution at ETH Zurich, where I simulated viral evolution and questioned the methods used to study epidemics. Now, I am looking for a new challenge, to push the boundaries of my own knowledge and skills while creating applications that stretch beyond academic research. I am particularly interested in connecting physical and digital worlds to ensure both environments can persist. I believe that the future of technology depends on our ability to find solutions in which both worlds complement each other.
